Supermoon by Roger Baligod

The phenomenon known as a Supermoon occurs when the Moon is at its closest distance to Earth and at the same time it’s Full Moon (or New Moon).

There was a Supermoon last June 23, 2013 and KaNayon Roger Baligod was able to capture it on his camera. In these two pictures, he used his Nikon D90 in manual mode. The shutter speed was 1/200 seconds, aperture at f5.6 and ISO at 200.

Roger Baligod took these photos of the Supermoon on the early morning of June 24, 2013 around 2:30.

Roger Baligod is a loving husband and father to his two kids. He’s a Nikon user and enjoys mountain climbing on his spare time. He sometimes do it with his daughter.

He’s a resident of Pasig City and enjoys out-of-town trips.

Guangzhou, China by Belio Lucero

Nayon Photographer Belio Lucero was at Guangzhou, China last June 8, 2013. He works for a lighting fixtures company in Makati City and he went to China for the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition.

Here are some of this pictures of his most recent travel abroad.

Belio Lucero is a graduate of BS Industrial Management Engineering (BSIME) from the De La Salle University. He’s a loving father and husband and recently attended a DSLR videography workshop conducted by the FPPF.

Nayon Photographers’ Club 2012 AVP

Nayon Photographers’ Club won a video-making contest last December 2012. The theme of the video entries from the different photography clubs that make up the FPPF is about the club’s history.

The Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) submitted by Nayon Photographers’ Club won the best video award for 2012. Please watch the winning entry below.

Mosque and Dam by Boboy Ramiro

Nayon Photographer Boboy Ramiro recently posted two wonderful pictures on the Nayon Facebook Group.

This is the Grand Mosque or Masjid Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in North Cotabato.

This is Wawa Dam in Rodriguez, Rizal.

Boboy Ramiro is one of the most travelled Nayon member that I’ve ever met. He’s been all around the country and his travel pictures could be a great book.

Independence Day 2013 by Darwin Gernale

Darwin Gernale was at the Rizal Park during the Independence Day celebration with Vice President Jejomar Binay. He took these wonderful pictures of the wreath-laying ceremony.

Darwin is an artist, cartoonist and photographer from Malabon City. He’s using Canon 60D with 18-250mm Sigma lens and a 10-22mm Canon lens. He’s also into monthly themed-photography contests on several photography groups on Facebook and he’s winning awards.

Darwin Gernale is also a travel photographer and he’s been to several parts of the country due to the nature of his work.

Grandson with Ms. Universe by Ramon Candido

The kid in this picture is the grandson of Nayon Photographer Ramon Candido.

Gabriel is the lucky kid posing with Ms. Universe Shamcey Supsup.

Ramon Candido is from Manila. He’s married and recently retired from Unilab as a sales manager. He enjoys time with his grandsons, plays the guitar and takes wonderful pictures.. He had wonderful memories of his days with Unilab including an all expense paid trip to Europe.

He is a Nikon user and enjoys taking pictures in black and white.

Mel Ganelo, Boyet Guevarra and Caloy were at Barangay Malico, Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya recently. They visited the rest house of Nayon President Edwin Lim. Mel Ganelo took these wonderful shots of the night sky at the mountains of Barangay Malico.
