It’s 5 days before we launch our photo exhibit entitled “Versatility 2019: Brushstrokes and Photographs” at the Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, Pasig City.
Me and my fellow photographers at the Nayon Photographers’ Club (NPC) are very excited for our 3rd photo exhibit. The last time we had a photo exhibit was in 2014 held at the Tiendesitas Mall, Pasig City.
This year, we’ve level-up our photos by combining it with oil painting. Our 2019 President Jun Tivi initiated this project since he’s an artist/painter by profession. This kind of painting is also known as “Paintography” – paint and photography. Pictures are printed on canvass material and is painted over (oil paint preferred).
Our latest photo exhibit will run from January 26 to February 3, 2019. This year’s exhibit includes photography works from Boyet Guevarra, Betty Lalana, Vher Fabio, Vicky Alcantara, Jun Tivi, Roger Baligod, Majie Asuncion, Elisa Consul, Nonits Estorninos, Lian Hernandez, Gigi Chianpian, Ric Navoa, James Hullana, Sachi Yano, Peter Swann, and yours truly, Elmer Domingo.
Nayon Photographers’ Club is affiliated with the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) and is one of the oldest camera clubs in the country. Established in 1993, Nayon Photographers’ Club has been known as home to talented photographers.
We encouraged newbie photographers and photography enthusiasts to join our club to learn more about the art of taking pictures. We meet monthly every 2nd Sunday at the Ortigas Foundation Library, Ortigas Building, Pasig City.
